Hot air heating

The air in the building or taken from outside is heated by unit heaters or warm air generators.

To save energy, it is highly recommended to install destratifiers for heights over 6 metres. Using heat lying under the ceiling, energy savings of 30% are achieved. These products are eligible for EEC Energy Saving Certificates - standardized operations sheets IND-BA-110 and BAT-TH-142.

Applications of warm air heating:

This technique is used in low buildings from 4 to 6 metres high, insulated and to be heated in their entirety.

For this type of building, the "warm air" technique often proves to be the cheapest solution in terms of investment costs.

Air compensation and renewal

In addition to the heating installation, timed compensation is required for high air extraction rates in order to:

optimize the installed heating power and avoid over-dimensioning
keep the building slightly under-pressurized
prevent the infiltration of cold air and weather
control speeds and temperatures in the building

Outside conditions are variable and modulating gas burners provide the best solution for supplying new air renewal at constant temperature, close to the ambient temperature.
